This class covers the fundamentals of the Ashtanga practice including breathwork, sun salutations, standing postures, seated postures, and closing sequence. If you are interested in learning the practice at a slower pace, feel free to try this class before transitioning into the beginner series.
This class offers a chance for new students to immerse themselves in the flowing nature of the Ashtanga practice, linking breath with movement. Teachers provide a lot of verbal instruction as well modifications to more challenging postures.
This class is open to those familiar with Ashtanga who are looking to deepen their practices. The class is traditionally paced with less verbal instruction, and more hands-on adjustments.
This class emphasizes all the traditions of Ashtanga, the linkage of breath, movement, and drishti, in the full series containing all 42 postures. The class is challenging to the body while calming the mind.
This time is designated for students to practice at their own pace, following their own breath without an instructor. Reduced fees apply.
These classes present a portion of the classical Primary Series, and is generally paced faster, but will be tailored according to the level of participating students.
